Browband

I will be doing an in-hand youngsters show next month and I was thinking of buying a ribboned browband. Will this be ok for an in-hand class or shall I use a normal plain leather type?

If yes, what colour(s) would suit a chestnut? (Green is a no no)

interesting post.......i have a 2yr old to show next year at unaffiliated level and was also wondering coloured or plain.....( sorry don't mean to 'piggyback' your post!!!!)

Depends on the class and type of horses - hunters and cobs should be plain but riding horse means lovely browbands!

Ditto this!

If you do need a pretty browband, then I always think blue looks good on chestnuts

If the horse is a native, hunter or cob it should be show with a plain browband

But a hack, riding horse or show pony it should have a coloured brow band
