Brown boots for dressage?

I've got a gorgeous pair of brown Ariat Bromonts that are really smart. Normally for dressage (very low level!) I wear my black Mountain Horse long boots but they are not comfortable at all and I can't walk in them.

Can I wear the Ariats for dressage? My tack is a bit mismatched anyway, my saddle is black and my bridle is a very dark brown but unless you are close up it looks black. I wear a tweed jacket and beige jodhs, in my mind the brown boots would look nice with the jacket but I am so used to seeing people in black I'm beginning to doubt myself!

I wear brown ariat boots & gaiters The BD rule book says black or brown long boots or short boots & gaiters in same colour

I wear brown Bromonts with tweed jacket for low level dressage too.

I wear my brown bromonts too for dressage. Currently with a navy jacket but with a tweed jacket looks great.
