Brown Leather Boots and Competing

Hi All,

I have completely fallen in love with a pair of brown competition boots but I am undecided as to whether to go for the boring black as it is more appropriate for competitions. I mainly show jump, the odd BE 90 and a little showing. Thoughts?

You can wear them for the eventing. Don't know about sj. What class do you show in?

My sister has brown boots and gaiters. They are worn for everything, from PC to BE100 to county showing. They look very smart, especially with pale canary jods and a nice tweed jacket.

I only do low level M&Ms .... so with a nice tweed jacket I would hope it would looks smart. I do have my black hunting boots with a garter strap that I can wear if black is ever necessary!
