Brown or Black show cane???

Hi there,

I have just got a new horse and am hoping to start showing her shortly. She is a skewbald ISH and I am hoping to enter her in a ridden coloured class and was wondering whether I should show her with a brown or black cane? I am planning on wearing a green tweed show jacket with my canary jodhs if this makes a difference?

My girls have a brown one as it matches their joddy boots (dont know if thats correct but it looks nice !)

I expect I will be wearing my leather long boots so if this is the case I should probably use a black one.

I would gor for brown if you have a green jacket & canary jods, I think brown looks nicer but it's down to the individual so go with what you feel is best
