I am in process of looking for new jacket, Now I have alwas gone for green tweed with green or blue velvet collar and trims, blue velvet hat and canary jods, long black leather boots, brown gloves and cane.

But I have noticed more and more people wearing Brown tweed..I'm not sure what will look best...I guess Ill have to change my hat colour to......

Being a redhead myself I know that I look better in green than brown so maybe the same would apply to your chestnut! I would go for a green collar and black hat though as 'blue and green should never be seen!'

Seriously though, I would go for what ever you feel suits you both the best, your own complexion might not suit green, not everyone does.
