Out of interest how many people have brown jump/event saddles and black bridles breastplates etc?

Pretty sure that is what Pippa competes in brown devecoux and black bridle am I right?! Or blind!

Until I sort out a brown Grackle bridle, G goes in a brown jump saddle and breastpleate, and black Bridle. He has a Black Dr saddle though so bridle and saddle match for dr.

I have a black dressage saddle and brown everything else.
If I ever get round to getting a new saddle for Flora I might get a black one though, and then a black bridle to match (she has been so good recently she deserves some money spent on her).

I have a black jump saddle, dark brown breastplate and black bride and wear a brown 1/2 sheepskin pad. Horse is a black/brown mixture too so sort of works!

All brown on Paris though as I perfer brown/havana tack and suits his 'sort of grey' better.

I cocked up have a brown dressage/hacking bridle with black dressage saddle and black jumping bridle with tan saddle.

I have black everything and then on one horse a brown GP....just braught him a brown jumping and my mum isnt too happy as it isnt colour coordinated to everything else...but i dont care aslong as its comfy for me and him i'm happy.

My bum is big enough to cover up my saddle so nobody notices once I am on board that my saddles are black and everything else isn't. Have just bought a black bridle, but will still have a brown martingale in between (my bum doesn't cover that!)

I have a black dressage saddle and brown GP saddle, I school in my brown bridle but compete in a black bridle for dressage and brown for jumping.

I have a bright tan Ideal event saddle (got a bargain as it was such a garish colour and the saddler wanted rid of it!!) but refuse to buy a matching bridle for it! Bad enough having a tangoed saddle, never mind matchign tangoed bridle!! My horse is a very dark bay too... so super obvious!

However... my budget doesn't allow me to be vain about the saddle colour- it was the best fit for her and me and is good quality! (would love it to be havana coloured though...!)

i have a lovely deep tan Mark Todd bridle and a completely serviceable but old GP in BLACK on a bay horse - both fit her very well - but deep down we'd both like a complete set of matching fab tack...maybe one day! People probably too busy feeling sorry for the horse, watching me ride her to notice my tack colour...
