My TB already has 3 rugs on her and am feeding 2 big hay nets a night to keep the weight on which is what I usually do in January when we get the freeze. Last year she was still in her medium weight this time. Glad my friend found us a good hayman as I reckon I'll be feeding even more hay in January/Feb. This morning, all the taps were frozen, we usually get this in late January.

Anyone else reckon winter's come early this year? Roll on spring!!

Like the cold (apart from cold toes!). I'll have this all winter rather than the rain = mud, thanks!!

My two are much warmer in this weather than they are in the cold rain and wind. (live out).

Just remember, its not long before people are going to moan about hard ground in the summer too....;):D
and the flies, the midges, the heat, too much or too little grass.......

I'd just like it to keep the clouds zipped up so the ground has a cxhance to dry a bit more :)

yes its come earlier-i too agree, water butts frozen and taps frozen all day nothing thawing.
Although i like the cold, fields are frozen so no mud, me rolled our gateways end of last week so they are fairly flat to. I would happily have this for this for rest of winter!
