My TB had a punctured sole 2 weeks ago, the punctured is all healing and he was given the all clear 
while he went out for turnout a lady at the yard leant me her Boa boot which was a god send however last week I noticed heel bruising my farrier came out to check his punctured and told me not to worry about the bruising just don't put the boot on him...
So for the last week he hasn't had the boot on instead it's been vet wrapped, duck tapped and hoof put in a feed bag to keep dry bless him...
My question is how long for the bruising to go, he is sound and I am not riding him as I don't want to rush him rather him be well which is more important to me
