Hi,
Had the farrier out last night for shoes... he trimmed her feet all fine.
As he was doing her back foot, i noticed a small red patch on her sole between the apex of frog and the toe. It was about the size of a 50p. I asked and he just said it was bruising.
She has them on both back feet. She isn't lame. Should I be worried?
On Sunday I did go for a good gallop but the going was good (im very careful to canter on good ground) and she was fine.
She has been in at nights for the last week as new winter routine has started and is on matting but I wouldn't think that would cause any problems.
Bit of a worried mum......x
