My horse went lame about a month ago, farrier was out did hoof testers and diagnosed a bruised sole. Kept him in for a week, farrier came out again said he was much better and could be turned out. Couple of days later I tried him in the school and was still a little off in trot so thought I'd give him another couple of days before I try him again. Went to fetch 2 days later and was obviously lame. Box rest again, farrier came out and put pad on. He said leave him in another day then turn out. This brings us to today, he was turned out and when I trotted him up on the concrete he was lame.
Could it still be just bruising or do you think it could be something else? Think I will ring the vet after the farrier has seen him tomorrow
