My diamond of a horse has got a bruise on his sole. The farrier came out as I thought he may have an abcess. Horse lame in trot on the offending foot. Farrier didn't remove shoe today as horse booked in for full set on Saturday anyway so he didn't want to mess with the foot today. It's just literally down to the wet weather causing thinner softer soles. Is there anything that helps to bring the bruise out? He can have as much time as is necessary to heal but wondered if anything could help? I have asked farrier to put pads on this time whilst the weather is so wet.
