My N.E.W. boots have bitten the dust, in a big they literally fell apart cantering through water, not amused and won't be buying from them again (The boots in question are less than a year old)

So...I need new brushing boots for general hacking, nothing serious just something cheap & cheerful (I have leather boots all round for comps/hunting). Does anybody use the Woof Wear ones? Are they any good? Or the Equilibrium tri-zone?

I can 2nd Woof Wear double velcro. My horse hunts in them over the winter in wet clay and they wash easily and stay in place.

Woof wear are really good. I also bought a pair of Mark Todd 2 strap brushing boots recently and they are fantastic, really tough, fit well and look a lot more expensive than they were. I believe they retail at about £15 a pair. Bargain for hacking about & schooling!!

Another vote for Woof boots - single velcro for everyday and double velcro for hunting. Well made and last for years.

Of all the boots we use at work (and at the yard where I keep my horse), the Woof ones are the best brushing boots by far. My second favourite are the Legacy ones, they are very lightweight but I don't reckon the velcro will stand up to as much wear as Woof ones. Plus, I love the double lock straps on Woof ones. Sportabac are meant to be good as well. If you're looking for something cheaper and aren't fussed about double lock velcro, go for Woof Club boots.

Another vote for Woof double fastening, use mine 6 days a week, 50 weeks of the year and there still going strong over a year down the line and hope them to last a good few yet!

I have several sets of woof wear double velcro, and the college yard horses all had these boots and I thoughty they are amazing, not too expensive and very durable and easy to clean.
Brilliant boots, and you can have different coloured ones

iv got a pair of mark todd 2 strap ones, and they are good. very sturdy with thick strike pad, and wash well in the machine. i think in ride away cata. they are 11.99, bargain!

Woof wear double velcro ones here too! They last forever and when they do get a bit tatty you can use them for turnout and get some new ones for schooling!

Hello I have the Tri-Zone ones and they're great, they've used 4-5 times a week since 1 April and they look as good as new. They've gone through the washing machine half a dozen times and come up fine. I would probably get something sturdier if I was going to do much in them (I don't use them for jumping, only flatwork and hacking). They're nice and lightweight.
