just out of interest, what brushing bootsdo people use? nd do you use differant ones for differant activities?
i use equilibrium 'flatwork wraps' for hacking and schooling, although my horse brushes really badly behind they protect him really well..
and for jumping i use pro-tec-tor tendon boots (same but half the price of eskradon) and sabre leather eventing boots behind....(savingup for front ones)
and does anybody have anything bad to say about equilibriums mud fever chaps? i want some for my lad.
thanks!

At home I just use the Woof Wear Club boots or polo bandages. If i'm show jumping at a competition I steal my dad's tendon and fetlock boots. The are also woof wear but have the hard shell.

For Olympic he wears Eskadron tendon and fetlock boots for everything and missy wears Eskadron Tedon boots in front and NEW brushers behind.

I school and hack Louis in woof wear club boots, normally jump him in woof wear tendon boots and premier equine fetlock boots. XC I use the premier equine XC boots which are fantastic.

Don't use any on the tb, though used to so have every boot under the sun in the tack room. Use brushing boots and over reach boots on the young one.

for jumping at home i use wolf wear but at shows we use eskadron. wolf wear are great for just messing around at home or on a hack but eskadron have more protection and mine have sheep skin in them. personally i find you get better value out of eskadron.

I use the club woof brushing boots at for at home or small local shows

When eventing I have a set of open fronted leather tondon boots for showjumping and use the NEW lightweight competition boots for xc - I wouldnt hesistate to recommend these to anyone, best boots i've ever owned!

I never use over reach boots even with twiggy who as a youngster is so long striding and still gaining balance and strength. I read a piece by lucinda green on them which made complete sense to me - how can such a lightweight piece of rubber deflect a blow from a shod hoof? And many have been brought down by stepping onto the skirt of one......but that is another argument for another day i think!

I use woofs for schooling and hacking, I have the ones with reflective straps so they're good for roadwork. For showjumping I have some devoucoux open fronted tendon boots but i haven't used them yet, and for xc I use prolites with woof overreach boots.

I have equichaps for my horse who is prone to mud fever, there's not much bad to say about them except that sometimes water can get sucked up under them although this is possibly because he has odd shaped legs so they don't fit him brilliantly (he is a heavyweight cob), but apart from this wetness on his heals they do keep his legs very clean and dry. However they are pretty expensive, I got them years ago when they were the only thing available for mud fever but now there are lots of cheaper boots available, for example the sportabac turnout socks which alot of my friends have and they are also very good.
