Brushing boots with double velcro straps?

If brushing boots have 2 straps to secure them, the first being velcro and then a second to secure it, does the outer strap point backwards when fitted ?

i was always told that, but surely the inner one should point backwards towards teh tail? o im so confused !

Single velcro is fastened front to back. However most double velcro boots are styled so that the second strap fastens back to front. So many people hve them on the wrong way round but if you look at the shape of the strike pad the boots fit better with the second strap done up pointing to the front.
It actually really bugs me when people have them on the wrong way! Silly i know but its soo annoying because the boots dont fit properly!

not this q again! single straps velcro backwards..double straps outside strap faces forwards. simples!
niagra duval; yes there deffo is a right way to do up boots! they r shaped for protection if they r on the wrong way they r gonna do more harm than gud!

i kno wot u mean, i hav had loads of people come up to me and say iv got double velcros on the wrong way cos the strap is facing forwards, it really really annoys me! i have to say with the amount of peolple that say it i would end up asking like you if i wasnt 100% sure i was right and they were wrong on the subject!

ETS- he had to have his legs clipped today so those boots would fit

and they are supposed to be "large" cob boots
