All boots should be done up with the first strap going from the front of the leg to the back, as the most pressure is then on the cannon bone rather than around the tendons, as with bandaging! Is a real bug bear of mine too!!!

Is there a 'right' way to do up boots?
[/ QUOTE ]
Velcro should always go to the back!!!
[/ QUOTE ]
no no no it shouldnt! the first strap ( or only strap if single velcro) should always face the back!
[/ QUOTE ]
i was talking about single....
[/ QUOTE ]
you are excused in that case!
[/ QUOTE ]
No excuses temsik! The title of the post clearly states double velcro straps. Slacking off of standards will just lead to a wonky boot takeover before the add campaign gets going
[ QUOTE ]
Im laughing. At this rate this post wil make the top 5! [ QUOTE ]
good tis a very important subject! i believe strongly in my cause and am considering taking it to parliament! infact hh should do an article on it, and an ad campaign! lmao!
well yes this is true teddyt, with summer season getting going and lots of local shows and wonky boots to moniter we must indeed be vigilent!
Pony_club_ponie please read the title of future posts on such pressing matters very carefully in the future! false advice for whatever reason cannot be tolerated!!!!!!!!
pmsl
First strap goes front to back as this is the elasticated one and needs to be pulling on bone and not on the tendons. Second strap goes back to front just to secure it.
Guys, this post has been really difficult to read:
Please can you all use the spell checkers on your machines and also use capitalisation and punctuation correctly?
It just does not make for pleasant reading; I don't come into the New Lounge and expect to have to decipher posts without correct grammar/puntuation/capitalisation/spelling.
Sorry, but it really gets on my nerves - I am 15, so don't think that it is an issue with younger people, just lazy people.

Oh not again! Some people are not good with puncutation and/or spelling. But! They have a lot of advice to share. So! Take the advice, ignore the spelling/punctuation.
Very sorry to have upset you Boo but some of us are on a very important crusade to stop wonky boots. Sometimes spelling and grammar gets forgotten in the rush to fortify this vital campaign
so young and lazy too get a life old age will catch you soon enough there are more important things in life than correct grammer and punctuation you only have one life live it yeeeeehaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!
PSML! how about we make it a standard check before competing ? ands we can add it to the affiliated rule books while we are at it ...if its not already in them

aw teddyt that is terrrible! I'm off to write them a snotty letter!
BooBW- This is a serious post, if you cannot help with the plight of the wonky booters please dont post at all! Spelling and grammer also generally irks me in most situations but on here I use text language mostly, i think everyone has understood what I'm saying so is it really a problem?!
yeeha- what make are the boots you are currently modelling around your front room? they are the spawn of satin and sent to destroy our mission! lol no seriously what make are they.
the crusader numbers are looking good now!

Spelling temsik! The spawn of satan NOT satin. The spawn of satin would make them all silky, slinky and shiny and that would be looovely
mrs m i have a set of these legacy boots (in black!) they are deffo velcro double straps and deffo on the wrong legs in that pic! tut tut tut i shall send out the correct training material on identifing wonky boots to you forthwith, you may inadvertently miss a crucial case if all crusaders are not properly trained! Perhaps i should hold a 6 week training course?!
