brushing boots

basically i loan a pony who brushes her back legs and shes a riding school horse so they know but sometimes forget but the other girl who loans her said to me " she doesnt bother putting the boots on cos she dont need them and they just make her uncomfortable". If you put her boots on you can hear her brushing and its bugging me that she wont believe me. Who would you say is in the right?

Unless she's shod behind it is unlikely to cause any damage apart from stepping on her fetlock possibly. I am more worried that this horse is used by riding school and two loaners? Anyway, I would say just put them on when you ride her and leave the other girl to do what she wishes and hope the RS point it out.

she only works on the school on weekends for half a day each time so she never does too much. but thanks x
