Brushing boots

Just a quick one, I am currently hunting a horse that has a problem with brushing. I have been hunting him in the same boots he wears most the time which are open tendon boots and brushing boots on the hind. I am wondering what people recommend with boots, should I stick with this or opt for something with more support/protection? I don’t think going without boots is really an option for him as his brushing problem is quite bad but looking for the best solution. Thank you

Trizone hi impact sports boots are really good. They have good impact protection as well as being light and not retaining water so that would probably be what I’d go for if you’re wanting to up protection. They’re very popular for xc.
