Brusied gums ??

Horse come up in some sort of brusing / ulcers on his gum welll looks like that but sure / no access to anything he shouldn’t or nothing in the field , hay has been quite coarse so maybe that’s causing it ? Still eating ect vets booked
Anybody ideas ?

Not a young horse - (if it was changing teeth can really bruise)

Doesn't look like a bash either - I had one grumpy one who would bite at others over the fence and occasionally get the fence and smash his teeth!

I would think a dentist would be of more specialist help than a vet - BADET website for qualified people in your area if you don't have one already.

morning i always have vets to do teeth and laise with there equine dentist , have spoken to dentist this am and they said looks more like in injury than infection ect obv if doesnt settle we can further investigate ect
