I have tried to find this information on the BS website and can't see it anywhere. If you qualify at 90cms how high is the 1st round in the 2nd rounds? and the final? Still 90cms or does it go up each round like with BN or DISC 2nd rounds? Thanks for your help C x

well the 2nd round for the 1m this year was more 1.05/1.10 and JO 1.15 - actually bigger than at the champs

but from what i gathered when talking to people some venues built courses that were bigger and some were small so depends where you go

have to say i agree that the height should stay the same but i did a 90cm second round and also the 90cm 1st round as a warm up and there was a big difference in the heights. probably depends on course builder, venue, class numbers etc but i would say be prepared to jump slightly bigger then you'll be fine

I think that the height of the fences would be about right, but the dimensions completely different. Especially if it's a 2nd round, the spread and technical aspects of the jumps are going to be more difficult for a 2nd round. The perception is that the height is bigger, when it's probably not.

A 90cm should be a 90cm, not dependent on the venue, but unfortunately, I hear it all too often when people say, it was a "big" 1m class.

agree with technicality and dimensions but where i was i actually watched the course builder put the fences up and the wings had the measurements on them too.
