BS at Royal Leisure?

Thinking about going to Royal Leisure for BS in a couple of weeks, not been before.

Am I right in thinking it will be outside on a surface?

Anyone tell me anything – fences spooky, warm up size, arena size?

They have both indoors and outdoors although I believe yesterday was the last indoor of the season. Indoors has a nice big indoor warmup with Andrews Bowen pro wax surface. Main indoor arena is the same surface so light and airy although arena shape is slightly long and narrow. Jumps good old fashioned wood with solid fillers. Nothing hugely spooky.

Outdoors is a sand and rubber surface, big arena and good warmup... Same fences as indoors. If you look on YouTube there are loads of video of both but only post January 2013 video will have the new indoor surface.

They build BN at 90 and Disco at 1m....not much more you can say really. Friendly people and warm dry viewing for the indoor.

Really nice, friendly. Indoors and outdoors warm up and competition arena.

Up to height, colourful technical courses.

Very educational.
