BS horse ownership?

Hoping someone can help, I'm an associate member of BS and my new horse is in my mum's name on his passport. Could I register him as mine to compete or would my mum have to join as an owner? Or do I need to change his passport over into my name and then register him?

The owner on the passport must register at the owner. If you are under 16 you can't legally be the owner so your mum would have to register anyway - but if you are over 16 you could switch the ownership on the passport and then register yourself as both rider and owner.

No they dont, any one can register as the horses owner with BS, but if you are a junior you have to get an adult to do it for you.
