The only rule amendment i can find is as follows :-
[ QUOTE ]
Rule 77.3.9 Hors Concours
Amended to read:
A rider, having had faults during his/her round, may jump Hors Concours immediately or
before the end of the class.
Effective 1.4.07.
well maybe i have it wrong, but as i understood it, it is from 1st april 2007..... the thing is you have to be eligable for the class to start with, so you cannot take a foxhunter horse in a newcomers riding hc...!
right, just found the paper work... it says rule 77.3.9..... then at the end; "subsequent competitive entries being allowed....Effective 1-4-07"
That was appearently raitfied by the uk show jumping developement committee on 23rd November 2006.....
so im not sure why it doesnt say that in the ammendments !!!
another bsja cock up...?
this is very interesting, as when this was first mentioned my take on it was that you could jump H/C then jump in further classes competitivley so questioned my mum who's a judge and she then phoned John Doney (head of judges) who wasn't sure how the rule was supposed to be taken and sorry to say not sure what the outcome was, but will chase it tomorrow and if find anything out will post it back on here. Sounds like a good rule for some but not fair on others.
