Hi,

Im currently deciding what to do with my new mare...ie BE or BSJA. Have jumped her round BN courses 3 times now on a ticket, each time getting double clears, and her times in the JO would have secured her placings too (ie 4th and 2nd).
My friend suggested trying to qualify her for the Regionals? (have sent off her registration) She suggested sticking at BN, as it will go up and up in each round, so not to over face myself too early.

Just wondering though how you do this? Is it 4 DC's you need, and when do you need these by? My friend hasnt jumped for a few years so isnt quite sure!

I tend to go to Duckhurst and Royal Leisure, so would i need to somewhere else to do this?

Thanks!!

Not sure when your 4 dc's have to be registered by but you can jump anywhere to gain them that run's BN classes. If you get 4 dc's then you can only compete at your regional final, not sure of the placings there, but if you then qualify from there then i think the finals are at Scope

You have to get 4 double clears (starting from 1st May) to qualify for the second rounds, then you compete in the second rounds (regionals) in your area they hold a couple in each area and then so many from each (not sure how many) go forward to the finals at Scope....

No Discovery is the same, but Newcomers and Fox you still need your 4 DC's but i think u can enter more than one "semi-final" and then in that two qualify for HOYS instead of scope. I think a few lower places qualify for scope and at scope they have another chance to qualify for HOYS if that makes sense.
