Ive just registered my online account as I cant remember for the life of me how many DC's I have....

However, was very disappointed to see only one had appeared on the screen - I have jumped at least 4, and 3 of these would have been in Amateur classes - do amateur DC's not show up on the website?? They were a few months back at least!!

Baffled!!

Any idea why this is?

Thanks

Amateur class DC's will not appear.

Only British Novice, Discovery, Newcommers and Fox will appear as you need 4 in these so would need to know how many DC's u had got.

You have to place in the top 6 at any am champ qualifier but you must jump clear in the first round.

Amatuer first round double clears are recorded on the horses record at the bottom of winnings page along with any double clears for BN, Disco, NC, FOX etc.
I usually keep a record of anything mine have done and chase up the BSJA if they are not on there after a few weeks or so.

To qualify for the amatuer 2nd rounds you need to be placed in the first 4 or 6 in a first round amatuer competition (can't remember exactly but it's in the BSJA rule book). At the 2nd rounds you have to get placed again to qualify for the final, then at the finals you have to qualify for the championship Grand Prix on the last day of the show.

great - im qualified then as came 2nd yesterday and also 4th a few months back! Will need to concentrate on the BN/disco now then to get the 4 DC's in each.

thanks!

For Amateur classes - I qualified for a 1.10 Amateurs the other day, I believe its simply the top 4 or top 6 who qualify for the 2nd round (as long as they've jumped a double clear or just a clear in the first round - sorry cant remember exactly!). So you can qualify having done one class if you know what I mean.

For your 4 DC's, they ONLY count in actual BN, Disc, New, Fox classes. Any other classes like Amateurs or Opens dont count.

you must be in the first 6 and jumpd clear in the first round to qualify for the amateur second rounds.

so if you have a fence in the j.o. but there's only 6 in it say, you will still qualify.

and if you jump the 1.20 and qualify, you will be invited straight to the final. second rounds will still be run for the 1.20 but as final qualifying attempts.

double clears will only be shown in BN/D/N/F classes
