I have only ever jumped Minto BSJA on a tciket with me both being the owner and the rider. However on Saturday I am taking 2 horses to a BSJA Intro show (Im taking a Mr D and a Mr DJ so will get confusing too!), horses owned by different people. I *think* Darcey will just do the 70cm whcih is open to registered and non registered so that is not a concern. But if I get my brave pants on and he jumps well I might want to do the the 80cm. So will need a class ticket. So are the class tickets for the horse/rider combination or does the owner come into it? I think registering BSJA the owner rider and horse all have to be registered? So the same with DJ, hoping to do the 80 with him and perhaps the 90 (if brave pants still on), so will need 2 class tickets for him also.

If you register with BSJA then rider, horse and owner needs to be registered but if your jumping on a ticket then it doesn't matter. They don't really care who the owner is.

Class tickets are for horse/rider combination. Check the schedule though as I thought at our local intro show non members of the BSJA can try any of the affiliated classes with a Free BSJA ticket, so you should not have to buy a ticket at an Intro show.

Yes they do that, but what they dont say is that each show only gets 10 free day ticktes from the BSJA, so once they are finished you still have to buy a ticket in the normal way. So far I have been there in time to get one so fingers crossed!
