BSJA Clear rounds

Sorry if this has been asked before.....

I know some BSJA centers run clear round classes prior to starting the BN class. Do you have to be affiliated or on a ticket to do a clear round or can anyone just turn up??

they are unaff. so you just enter

At the places that I go to, the round before the BN is usually the 85cm class, but it still has jump off and placings, so is a class not just clear round.

A true 'Clear Round' class is open to anyone...and there are no placings / jump-off. Some BSJA shows do run a small unaffiliated 'Open' before the BSJA schedule though
