BSJA compliant whip - child's version? Will unaffiliated comps be following the rule?

I would imagine so, but I am also trying to imagine my 7yo son trying to hold a compliant whip (the ones we've seen have had thick handles) and the reins correctly. At the moment he has a slim old-style whip, with a narrow handle that works fine. If he doesn't carry it, pony just bogs off to the gate repeatedly. Anyone on here bought something suitable for their child and can recommend?

Darley do a very short (50cm) BS compliant whip with small handle, the 11yo (small) girl I work with carries it fine.

As for unaff, if their schedule says 'run under BS rules' then technically yes you will need to comply

Thanks, the perfect handle size! At that price it will be living in the lorry though lol!
