Son's jumping is really coming on & hairy cob is jumping 90cm tracks quite happily. Trouble is there is a distinct lack of unaffiliated jumping over 2'9 & not a lot at that height so I am thinking maybe he could do some BSJA on a day ticket (we are not far from Keysoe, so handy) but have no idea how you go about it or how many times a year you can do it. Had a look at the BSJA website, but found it confusing to find stuff.
I don't want to register as he won't do it often enough to be worthwhile (probably max 4 shows a year) & he'll be off to Uni next year (hopefully!). Ironically it's easier to find 2'9/3' classes in winter as a local RS runs winter unaffilated SJ.
I know there will be someone on this forum who knows everyting about it & understand that a local show with a max of 2'6" just doesn't cut it any more for a teenage boy even if his horse is a hairy.
