BSJA - Discovery, winnings limit

Hi

I dont have my rule book to hand and need to know what the maximum winnings a horse can have and still be eligible to compete in Discovery Classes

And only money from double clears count - so if you win one of these classes on a clear and 4 faults your notional will be zero

Thanks Rambo. At least I had the other classes right!!! I have a way to go before I am out of newcomers yet thankfully!

Is that a recent rule? I'm sure it was not the case when I was competing but that was about 5 years ago now?

Yes...it changed earlier this year

Did you get a DC or miss a chance in the JO then

No, as I had one down but I would have ridden a little better and been a bit more careful if i thought I could get placed, and then had to jump the 1.05 HC as well ! had one down in that aswell but again my fault !

we have finally registered our horse, just waiting for the pack and numbers to come through, whats the difference between actually and notional then ? sorry to crash your post sarahs

If your pack doesn't turn up by the time you want to go jumping you can phone up for your numbers - which is all you need to jump - what name did you go for in the end?

well the weird thing is i was checking the name finder thing on bsja site and his showname we use now didnt come up, so i clicked it a few times and it did eventually come up with a pink background which looking at the boxes its an unregistered horse? SO put twist of fate as first choice and second choice was kings twist of fate as he was a kings troop horse and third choice i think was my twist of fate. so not sure what his name is yet lol.

Actual is the cash you recieved from show centres, notional is the amount you should recieve!
