Well I got him on the lorry

and managed to get there in time for the CR. Really wasn't sure how he was going to react as it was only his 4th comp and the first away from home. Needn't have worried, he behaved like he had been doing it all his life

CR - he went round nicely not looking at anything and left them all up.
BN - just rolled a pole in the jump-off due to incompetent rider checking when he should have pushed.
95 open - rode him a little more forward and he jumped a lovely double clear. Didn't push it in the JO, just let him go on a bit and finished 10th......prizes to 9th. Typical!!!!
Managed to load him OK for the return journey so all in all I couldn't be more pleased with him

Met moonwalker but didn't meet any of the other HHO'ers there

Been to look at your photos. Now I know who you are, I'll say hello next time!!

We're going there again next week for affil dr, then on the 16th for bsja, then Manor Farm bsja on 31st, so maybe we'll see you at one of them?

If you saw me, I was the small person on the grey who couldn't slow down!
 
Well done, sounds like a very productive outing!! I didn't make it in the end, too many odd jobs to catch up on, will try and make December 16th though

Or all of them inc dressage. Taking OH to keysoe next sunday for the mediums. Then SJ at the same places as you

Yay! Mini HHO meetup at The College on 16th!!

I love meeting people - I keep my 2 at home & only do private lessons, so I don't really get to know many other riders. I think it would make shows a lot more fun if I had a few more people to say hello to.

So do I. Fell a bit like billy-no-mates at the moment. Even had to find some random person to hold my boy whilst I walked the courses.

Time to develop a discreet badge we can all wear to aid identification.
 
I always have o/h with me so if you see us he might as well make himself useful & hold 2 instead of 1!!

Not sure if we'll see you at the dr next week as we're doing prelim, but will very likely be doing the 16th & will be more than happy to horse hold or have a celebratory / commisseratory cup of tea afterwards!!

I put my photos in the gallery too. A bit blurry, but never mind. Did you get yours on disk?
