I would like to join the BSJA and compete my 14.2hh pony. The only thing is that i can't work out the costs, and what areas i would be classed in.
I am 15 years old, as of March 1995 and would like to compete my 14.2hh, we are jumping at around 3ft-3ft3 at the moment and are ready to take it up a gear.
I am also a pony club member, if that helps.

Could anybody help me and tell me how much it would cost for me to join and what areas i would need to sign up for?

Thankyou.

I would really suggest you contact the membership office which you can find on the website (just google BSJA). There is a lot of info on there about costs and types of membership as well. You would be a full jumping member as far as I am aware although you would still be a junior until next year. I am not sure whether your pony can compete in senior classes after that or not - again you'd have to check this with the membership office as i don't know exactly how this works.

You can get discounted membership if you are a member of certain affiliates - for example a riding club and (I think) maybe pony club so check these discounts out.

Email or call the membership office as they are very helpful and will be able to explain everything to you.

Ive just been reading on the website and they seem to have a deal for Pony club members, of £50 annually, which seems great, although i cant work out if that includes horse and an non-riding member, as i would need a non-riding member to join as i am under 16.
