BSJA Moulton Colledge

Indoor is the new one, approx 60x40 mtr (much bigger than keysoe) with really nice surface. Plenty of space for the fences and as its an intro show the course should be inviting. It was the last time it was held there. Warm up in in the outdoor areana, again, plenty of space.
Vid form SJ last sunday will give you an idea of what its like.

I might go, but am planning on going to Keysoe on the 20th, might do both though!

Warm up is L shaped with the big bit 20x60 and the smaller bit 20x40. Most seem to wrm up flat in the 20x40 then move in to 20x60 for warm up over the practice fences. Works well as neither area gets crowded.

I'm planning to go (only 10mins from the yard so silly not to really!!). Went to the one in March and it was a lovely course. Its also nice and quiet compared to places like weston lawns!!

New neddy?

Have I missed something?

Ed was retired in March due to the shiver getting progessively worse to th epoint where he could no longer be ridden safely.
He spent the summer in his field looking miserable and was PTS recently.
Now have a share horse. The one in the vid 3 posts from the top. That was only his second time round a course of jumps and first time indoors.

Yeh but this time I will be on a green horse so not sure how he will handle XC. Only popped round the XC training course at moulton so far but that didn't phase him at all.

Carthorse...definitely one of the hardest decisions I've had to make. Its relatively easy when a horse is very old or obviously seriously injured. Ed was neither. He looked a very well, fit horse in his prime. I had 6 months to prepare myself menatlly and emotionally but still fell apart.

Oh no so sorry for you regarding Ed, what a horrible decision to have to make.

New horse looks lovely. So you can join me with the new baby horse brigade at shows!!
