Please would someone explain this competition series to me. A local show centre has some 1st round qualifiers and I think I will have a go at the 90 and 100 cm classes.

So my questions are:-
Are the second rounds also held at local show centres?
How big are they? (I am put off second rounds of BN and Disc because they are so huge)
When and where is the final?

I appreciate I could probably find this out in the rulebook but I don't find the BSJA rulebook very user friendly and would appreciate your advice.

thanks :-(

Yep, second rounds are at local show centres. fences do not go up much (if at all) for the second rounds and not a huge amount for the final.
Final is held around november. This year it was at areana UK.

hi the second srounds go up and are very popular as it's relativbely easy to qualify for them....
then are held locally maybe 2 in east area or somehting like that cant really remember,....

the championship was held at arena uk this year in lilcolnshire but next year it might possibly be at addington-bucks.. they;re not sure yet...

the championship is friendly and happy and in the finals, (not the qualifyers) 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounds of the 90cm ther were a few bigger jumps up to 1.20m but only very few usually get that far.

usually, once at the championships you have 2 chances to qualify for the finals, a normal round and a speed- on 2 different days.

the final this year was end of november to the beginning of december.

hope this helps xxxxxxxxxxxx
