BSJA pony anyone - £900

jump off your high horse Rhino - i posted link genuinely incase anyone was interested in the pony - it might have potential as a project for someone at that price. I couldnt care less what she's wearing and I only noticed she hadnt got a hat on after posting.

So why the comments about the tracksuit? Is it relevant to the potential of the horse?

No high horse, but I am perfectly entitled to my opinion thanks :cool:

oh so I'm not allowed to comment on someones attire. I just said her trainers went with her tracksuit, which they do - perfectly entitled to my opinion thanks :cool:

Oh absolutely, you're entirely entitled to continue to take the piss out of a young child, who didn't post their picture on a public forum, but instead advertised a pony on a sales site. Carry right on...

lol, i dont see how saying her clothes match is taking the piss :confused::confused: My clothes match too sometimes! If i wanted to take the piss dont you think i;d have ripped her to shreds in my original post, but the rider is not what this post is about, it is about the PONY.

I like the look of the pony. It must have some talent for jumping at least so a bit of a rough diamond perhaps for someone to polish into a gem!
 
If my comment about the fact the rider is wearing trainers upset anyone then i apologise, it was not an attack on the seller, just a light hearted jovial observation.

I am however still genuinely interested in people opinions of the pony??

It says affiliated BSJA pony. That means absolutely nothing, except that someone has paid to register, as Tina checked it has NO winnings and NO double clears recorded. Pony classes also start at about 70cm now, so trying to sell it as an affiliated showjumper, although technically not a lie, is fairly meaningless..

Photos are poor quality but I'm not enamoured with the conformation, particularly the muscle build up on the underside of the neck. No mention whatsoever about it being safe in traffic, to catch, shoe... It's always interesting what an advert doesn't say. Doesn't sound like an ideal children's pony at the current time.

I would also want to know if the registered name (and location) means it has anything to do with Reflex Equestrian - in which case I would avoid at all costs.

I know 'of' the pony.

It jumps like a stag.

That is if you can find something to use as brakes. Because no-one has so far.

Most dealers know of this pony, as do most auction houses. Must be on it's third round of the country. I would have thought someone would have done the right thing by now.

I don't know of the Reflex equestrian, but I will say that the latter parts of it's name are it's passported name, it didn't have the prefix before.

I believe Reflex had it for a brief time in the autumn of 2011 - hence the prefix- I'm friends online with the girl who had him after and jumped him at NH and as stated before does jump huge! Who knows how many times it's been sold on since being there :confused:

I'm not sure that it's the 12 year old riding and quite possibly the mother?

Top photo looks like a young girl leading pony (blond hair). Photo of rider in dubious attire has dark hair and looks much older / taller.

Just saying :rolleyes:

I couldn't tell you, but I saw it go through the ring in late 2010 and this year again.
