Website is not very clear and I've had a tough day at work! Could some one please enlighten me as to how much 6 month membership would work out and would it be worth it over the winter when I'd only be jumping 90cm-1m classes?

Spotted an Intro show coming up locally and fancy going along, but will really grudge missing out on the chance to win back prize money if on a day ticket!

Not that I'm reckoning on a placing, would just be nice to know there was a slim chance!

If there were a few through the winter and we had fun at that one I'd maybe consider joining up over the winter, but don't want to spend a fortune.

If your just doing 90cm - 1mr classes, you should go to the intro shows at Rowallan & ingilson as they do free tickets

The centre near me does 1 ticket for as many classes as you want

Cheers S_J!

n_l_m - ha ha, the "dark" side is BD, BSJA is just the twilight zone no?!

Just saw the 8th Nov schedule on SNEC's website and thoguht I might give it a go.

Now, is that a lovely offer or a sneaky way of having Madge kept fit while you're away?!

Would love to- have you come up to the yard for a nosey yet?

SW- I read of these fabled free tickets, wonder how early you have to get there for them as I heard they were limited numbers? Free is good though!

Well when i have been theres always a massive pile on the entries table, so i dont think they are too limited! You just help yourself and hand it in with your entries

Im not sure if they have the show date stamped on them to be honest, cause im a member and just seen them sitting! I have often thought that anyone could take a few and no one would never know!

No not yet, this week got away with me a bit. Txt'd L today to say I will come up Mon or Tues, as I am in Glasgow at a hen weekend this weekend. Re Madge - bit of both

. I honestly hadn't thought about it, just assumed she could have time off, but actually if she got a bit of work it would help out with the "I am going to compete again one day"

Ooh 8th - I'm still here......hmmm might be too soon as haven't cantered her yet

If you look on the BSJA Scotland website you'll get the up and coming dates. Unfortunately, if it's an Intro show you're wanting, Ingliston and SNEC are managing to have theirs on the same weekend. Brilliant planning.

If you're looking for Rowallan dates and you don't see many intros don't worry - I was at a meeting with Johnnie the other night and it's a little glitch, they'll prob have pretty much one a month over the winter. Tickets are defo free at Rowallan intro, can't speak for any of the others as never been at intros anywhere else!

NJ- yeah, I spotted that, although it might make each one a little quieter without manic class sizes?! Doesn't make much sense though!

JenB- cheers, just realised Rowallan and Ingliston are much further away from me than I thought and Dabbs is closer with some Intro shows on too. Might venture over sometime though!

Measles- yes, as per my original post, that was what annoyed me about the day tickets, although it would be good experience all the same to jump some proper tracks with spookier jumps.
