As title really, can a horse that has been jumping affiliated with someone else go back to jumping unaffiliated with a new rider who isn't BSJA reg?
Thank you, sorry if it is a dumb question!

A BSJA registered combination can jump at unaffiliated although they may not be able to qualify for some things, or jump in restricted classes - eg. UK Chasers allow a BSJA horse and Non reg rider but not a fully registered combination to qualify but you can still compete in those classes.

A registered horse can jump unaffiliated with an unregistered rider if the class stats are done on the combination of horse /rider. my daughter and her horse were registered and jumped unaffiliated sometimes but couldnt win more than a tenner in prize money. Look at the class and see what it says, some say not to have won 3 firsts, not to have won such and such amount etc.
