Since there was a post asking for sj reports, and I'm very bored (should be studying but that's even more boring than doing nothing!) I thought I would give you a little report on BSJA last weekend.
Well first I jumped my friend's lovely horse Squire, was first time going straight into BSJA classes so originally just intended to do BN and then maybe again HC if he was naughty! Anyway he was a good boy just had one down where he just didn't pick up his leggies enough. Surprisingly there were only 5 clears, 2 of which were on a ticket so mr S got a 6th rosette and 3rd place prize money (his first BSJA winnings)

So decided to enter Discovery as well and he went fab. Jumped clear in the first round, felt like he really tried hard and helped me out when I got it wrong! Then had one silly one down in the jump off when again he didn't pick his legs up enough! He still came third though and added some more money to his card yay. Hopefully event mr Squire this year he's got fab flatwork so if we can nail the xc he'll be awesome.

Then it was a mad rush to get my mr Keats ready who was still in the field at this point! (He's liveried there lol)
Went into the 1m05 and he jumped well but had a lazy one down in the jump off (still came second but would have won on 4 faults if I had not nearly forgotten my turn to the 3rd and hadn't taken it so bloomin wide!)

Then did the newcomers (our second one) I wasn't as scared as last time and he was ace if a bit speedy, he was still on jump off mode (put 5 strides into a long 6 stride double and he's only little! lol) Had one silly one down where I pushed him on too much and I think he forgot to pick up his back legs! Love my fat hairy pony
