Well, it was my first time out since I stunningly fell off at the first fence at Crofton a few weeks ago so it was 50/50 how it would go today

OH jumped the 1m and jumped very well, he just had a spook coming into the 2nd fence and had it down but he was confident and attacking the course.

The girls had been jumping DC newcomers last year but I had dropped them down a level to make sure they started the season confidently so they were both entered for the 1.05 (and I didn't think 5cm would make too much difference - sorry guys!!!).

I was in Tica first and second to go so I duly warmed up and then realised that they had already walked the course and the first one was in the ring. I managed to watch her and work out where to go and then we were in. Tica was very relaxed which made a refreshing change cos she's usually mad, and jumped a nice double clear!

Quick change over and onto Varleen, she was a bit spooky to warm up and I have put her back in a snaffle so it was going to be an interesting one! She went in a bit green but jumped fab and clear in the first phase and just got a bit long down the distance in the JO and had one down.

So, very pleased with them all, we now set off for Vilamoura and the Sunshine Tour on Friday. Can't wait!

I would like to congratulate you but am far too jealous of you going to Spain to manage to say anything charitable!
