Well went for the discovery and newcomers today (first newcomers, *gulp* ), was so nervous! went in the disco feeling pretty good though as she was giving me a nice ride outside, she popped round the course nicely, rapped a few but luck was on our side and they stayed up. Jump off- only 2 got through! so i went really slowly as i didn't want to win, she went clear, and the person after me went really fast but then had one down so i ended up winning! so that was pretty cool, 2 wins disco in a row, but not so good as i will be out of disco soon if this keeps up!
anyway onto the newcomers...ahhh lol! Went in and i was like "omg the jumps are huge i have NO chance" but she went really nicely, taking a flier over some of the huge spreads, going really well untill the last but one fence, a big spread off the corner, got the stride wrong and she took the front pole with her- however managed to get her back and jump the big planks to finish so came away with just 4 faults, which i am very pleased with
