Paid Weston Lawns a little vist and I took Cazzas' little mare for the BN and Lymp for the 1.05m open.
The only comment I'll make about the BN round is that I really need to get to grips wih the horse and stop riding like such a Timmy
(6 feet of daylight between my arse and the saddle is not stylish!).
The 1.05 was much better, I'm finally figuring how to get the engine working
He out jumped me over the first fence, jumped the second well but went disunited going around the corner and we got the canter back but by the time we'd gone around the tight corner and gone the 3 strides into the fence we didn't have much impusion there and I went forwards too early which didn't help and he had it down and he had the next fence as well but he jumped the rest really well (despite my slight navigational error
But his behaviour is fab at the moment
so I think we shall do a few more 1.05m's and if all continues to go well then i think we shall be having a crack at a Newcomers
