Am still grinning from ear to ear! what a fabulous day
took Tara to weston lawns, as we had nothing else on and hadn't done anything for 2 weeks, and we have an ODE next weekend so thought we should do something! Was originally going for the british novice and discovery but we got there and they where still on the 85cm introductory class! So decided to do the 90cm and british novice instead. Whilst we waited we watched the big ring, and saw the likes of Di Lampard and Tim Stockdale
Anyway, back in my ring- Went into the 90cm and i was under very strict instructions to go for a clear round and i was not, under any circumstances, to try and go fast. So went and did a beautiful double clear- we have finally got ourselves together and she wasn't going like a giraffe, she was actually looking and rounding more over the fences. Found out in the end we came 3rd! woo
(was a busy class, think there was about 30-40 in it!) so very happy.
Then took her in the british novice, one of the first to go, and did a beautiful clear in the first half and then i went for it in the 2nd round (With parents permission this time!) and she flew round
found out we had gone into 1st place- great! But we then noticed that there where 50+ in the class
we must of sat there watching everyone for a good 2 hours, but we kept our place and won it
i am over the moon with her!
won £50 too which is a bonus
