Now I won't name names as it is very possible the BSJA site is wrong (not unusual) BUT I noticed when looking up a horse's name that won a decent class a good few weeks back that it was unregistered on the BSJA website. I thought at time they just slow to update and they could have reregistered it the week before or similar.

Anyway just as bored on my lunch looked again now and its still showing as unregistered nearly a month later. Now this horse won a very decent class and the owner/rider 'should' know better seeing as who it was. And obviously if had jumped on ticket couldn't have been placed. Intrigued now to know if actually registered or not at time and if not whether the prizes will be properly redistributed (much more than £20 we talking about here!!) and whether the rider/owner will be disciplined as they should be.

I know of a horse that was re-registered nearly 3 months ago, and is still showing as 'unregistered' on the BSJA website !

I wouldn't worry too much. If it really is unregistered then the rider will get fined once the results are processed at HQ

Katie - if you PM me the names then I can tell you if they are registered or not. If we then find that they are not registered, then you should complain to the BSJA and they will be fined and disqualified.

BSJA website isn't that up to date - my horse has been grade B since Nov last year, and the website still has them as grade C.

LOL!

I didn't spend too long interrogating them once I realised they weren't for me ! Want to know who's going to pay for the return postage though...as really they should go back registered !?

Could just be that they haven't updated the website... as going on my previous experience according to their site i was unregistered for a while cos we sent of the re-registration forms mid November with cheque (membership ran out 30 November), nothing happened, first or second week of December get a letter from them asking why i hadn't renewed my membership. Turns out they hadn't received the forms and cheque and it had to be done over the phone.
