Hi,
Thinking of joining as hoping to try some affiliated this year (if i ever find a horse that is!!) is it worth joining now-a few months before i would be starting to compete. Are there any other benefits other than entry?
Also - are there any otehr affiliated venues in the lincolnshire/yorkshire area- Think arena UK is my nearest! Anyone jumped at sheepgate before?

I wouldn't join until you're ready to compete, seems a bit of a waste of money to me (?). They did have some offers on for new members and riding club members so may be worth giving them a call when you're ready to join to see if you can grab a bargain!!

Don't join until you want to jump, there is currently half price membership and also deals if you are a RC member and if you know anyone who is already a member say that they recomended you to join and they will get £20 off their membership as well. Also if you find an Intro show they normally give away free tickets. TRing to check though first.

Not much point joining unless you are wanting to compete IMO, especially as you don't have a horse yet.

In fact I would suggest jumping on a ticket for the first few times out anyway & then joining when you know whats what
