sorry, i havent seen this!
well we had the farrier at the weekend, and maybe he might know why somethings up as it might be something with er feet. he said cause she has flat heels and long toes, if her new shoes are late [like they were, due to farrier not picking up the phone!]
her toes get longer and it puts alot of presure on her heels, so making her quite foot sore, resulting in her feeling off on her front :D so we didt need to ring the vets the nexts day thanks to clever farrier :D

Ah ok, I was going to say if her feet are that bad after only a few days overdue then there might be a problem with the way she is being shod but if it's weeks then that explains it!

Mine always books in his next visit when he comes to do our horses - that would be a better idea and then you wouldn't need to chase to try to book the next apt

That's great if you can pre-book but my old farrier would never take your next booking. You just had to call him 'nearer' the time to arrange it - and then would struggle to get hold of him!! I took to calling about 2 wks before he was due but even that didn't always work!

thats what ours does!!, i have no idea if i can pre book him, but its worth a try? :p

My farrier will let you book in advance, he may however give me a call to ask if he can juggle other visits that are near me so he is not driving in opposite directions on the same day.
