Hi, Ive entered for a BSPA plaited coloured ridden class, I've only ever done in hand so never done one of these before and was wondering would the ponies be stripped off and run out after our individual shows?

Thank you !

It can vary. I do a lot of BSPA classes with my traditional and sometimes they do strip, and other times they do not depending on the judge. If it is a mixed height class or pony class, remember no spurs and you do an individual show. If it is an over 153 class you can wear spurs, and often the judge will ride, but again you may instead have to do an individual show.

If you are wanting to do the WCC championships, you need a qualifier card which you must take into the ring and you and the horse need to be registered with the BSPA before the class.

Good luck and have fun and maybe I will see you at the championships at the end of August.

Thanks so much for your help! She is only 12.2 and hasn't done much showing under saddle, only some small local shows this year which she has done really well at! Shes done well in hand at county level so ive entered her for a mixed height BSPA coloured class, lets see how we get on :) x
