Does anyone use a bua saddle? Looking for a jump saddle for a sensitive cob who doesn't always agree with the saddle fitters when they say treed saddles fit him...
All reviews seem to be 7/8 years old

As I recollect, the mechanism wasn't as long lasting as they hoped. I believe some snapped. I think they took them out of production, I didn't know they'd started them again.

I was always a bit suspect about the seat being attached only at one end of the saddle TBH. I couldn't see how that effectively spread the weight.

That was probably the Quantum, the bridge mechanism they invented failed.

Stubben took over Bua a couple of years ago, it's been renamed but can't remember what they called it. I know an endurance coach who loves them and fitted them for a while but any actual saddles I knew were not particularly liked. One yard that was kind of a trekking yard with regular rider said they worked for a couple of riders on a couple of horses. It has a bouncy feel to some, from the cantilevered construction, and a particular fit for the rider it seems.
