Have a very big chested TB and Mark Todd Heavy weight rugs dont fit him and planning ahead to next winter, had a look at the Bucas rugs at Badminton and really like the look of them? any past experience of either much appreiated! i

Bucas rugs are THE BEST!!! You do pay for them, but they last and last, and unlike nearly all other major brands they are NOT made in China.......

Exactly what halfstep says.

Bucas are plenty big enough and are the best quality you can get. My top tip is to buy from tosca rugs direct as they are much cheaper.
I discovered them at Hickstead last yr & never looked back. I especially love the special lining which was a godsend this winter after working my horses in the rain.

I totally agree, i bought both of the power t/o's and was converted by them, bought a irish light yesterday, imho they are worth every penny! and fitted both my tb and wide chested ish perfectly!

Agree with the above - I think Bucas rugs are fab.

Personally I swear by Horseware for my mare but they don't tend to fit big chested horses particularly well, so prob not best in your case :)

I love Bucas rugs. If I had one criticism it is that on really chunky horses they are not very deep.

Bucas all the way, although i do have several HW, Bucas are my fav even better when you can get them at the MH & Bucas sale int he autumn :)
