bucas power turnout

does anyone actually use this rug as their only rug? How well does it work? are there any other rugs you own too and use alongside it? Just trying to workout whether buying one of these would be cheaper than buying every rug separately

I use the bucas select rugs with the various liners. I still use stable rugs as well as I can't be faffed taking liners in and out all the time.

I do : I have owned one for 7 years as my only turnout rug. Horse mostly lives out, if in I sometimes swap for a stable rug just for a change or so I can wash the turnout. I have the light one and it has done down to minus 7 without my horse seeming cold , not too hot either in the spring. You really don’t have to worry about the temperature. As it is light it is really easy to handle , folds small for the summer put away and fits in my washing machine . It is strong and waterproof still. I have reproofed it 3 times and washed it several and it has two tiny rips near the edge this year for the first time. My horse is not clipped but has a fine coat . Fantastic rug. When it finally wears out I will buy a new one
