Hi, I need a new rainsheet for my girl come the summer season and am thinking of whether it is worth getting one of the above. Has anyone got any good or bad experience with it? e.g. How durable are they, do they really help when sun comes out unexpectedly and your horse is still rugged that they don't get as hot? As they are costlier than what I would have normally got I want to have some recommendations if poss. Thanks

I use one as a winter turnout for an unclipped cob who overheats in other rugs. They are very strong and waterproof, with good quality velcro and other fastenings and a mesh lining.

They survive rolling/playfulness etc very well . The neck is big enough for me to fasten it. It would be too hot for a bright summer day, but should be fine in Spring/Autumn and cool summer days (depending what summer we get!) on a more breedy horse.

Went and had a chat to them at the Dressage Nationals and was impressed with their rugs.
Brought a cooler rug that day and love it, will be buying their summer rug soon
as fancy a rug that copes if it turns hot :D

Hi, I bought one last year. As well as turnout I used it as a stable rug at night during the summer because my chap was such a filthy b****er, you wouldn't want to do it on mega-hot nights but it was fine for most summer nights. Mind you, being white it did get pretty filthy - so I bought another!

Its been a godsend for my horse who gets rainscald. He's been out in it on some pretty warm days and has never sweated under it. Fits like a glove, too :D
