Was made on licence by Bailey's for Buckeye but firm sold out to Spillers. Baileys now do their own version called Stud Balancer which is equally as good, don't know about price comparison though. It's very similar to the Blue Chip type feeds at a fraction of the price too!
It's great stuff, gives them all they need without overloading the stomach. Used to be you replaced stud cubes/mix with Gro'n'Win if they didn't need the calories at a ratio of 3 to 1 I think. Always use it for the mares during pregnancy.
Yep, MFH is right, be careful about feeding it though, tis like rocket fuel, I have a really big TB and I feed the bailey's stud balancer in small quantity to save feeding masses of coarse mix as he has a light appetite. ring you feed rep and have a chat with them about your requirements.
Thanks everyone, I rang spillers and they seemed to think it was perfect for my two new ones, if my feed merchants can order in Spillers then surely they can get it? Is the baileys version pretty much the same?
